We are looking for a Medical Assistant.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, professional, able to multi-task, and have a passion for patient care.
Some of the job responsibilities include the following:
Document the chief complaint Preform pre-exam testing Preform specialized testing Complete requests for prescription refills Explain the use of medication to the patient Scribe for the doctor Manage patient flow Assist physician as needed Open/Close exam lanes daily ensuring equipment is sterilized Requirements, Knowledge, Skills, and
Experience:
Travel to other locations is required.
Along with working on occasional Saturdays as needed.
Flexibility with starting and ending times.
Clear and effective communicator in person, over the phone, and online.
Eager to learn and utilize new technology.
EHR experience a plus.
Dedicated team player, with great attitude and personality.
Medical background and/or previous eye care experience helpful.
